Easter Hams in Stock (February 2016 Update)
EASTER DINNER
Easter will be here soon and we can help with your dinner traditions! We currently have HAMS available! Our delicious, pastured pork is non-GMO and raised without antibiotics or added hormones. We've also restocked our LEG OF LAMB and RACK OF LAMB which have a wonderful, mild flavor from our grass-fed lambs.
All cuts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Shop early for the best selection!
GRASS-FED GOAT
What's for dinner tonight? We recently had fajitas using our goat meat! Did you know we sell goat? This grass-fed meat has a unique, delicious flavor. We carry everything from chops to riblets in our store - try it sometime!
DAIRY UPDATE
We're close! This is a look inside. The walls to the lower left are the actual milk parlor which includes two rooms. Above is a hay loft and the remainder is a loafing shed for the cows.
We're currently figuring out a septic permit between the city & county. Also this week it's mud & tape on the drywall inside the parlor. As soon as the walls are done we can finish electrical & plumbing & start moving equipment in, followed by a few final inspections for approval. We hope to be ready in a few weeks and we'll continue to post updates as we go.
BULK ORDERS
Our next bulk orders will be available APRIL 14 & 16. Deposits are due SATURDAY, MARCH 26! Corriente & Angus beef, pork, lamb and Alaskan Salmon are all currently available. Do you want to try our meat before you make a big purchase? Stop by our farm store this weekend and pick up some separate cuts.
CHEESE-WOOD?
According to this article, many grated cheeses have higher levels of wood pulp than currently allowed by the FDA. So you could eat cheese-wood, or you could eat fresh, healthy, REAL raw milk cheese you grated yourself. Pick up a block of amazing raw milk cheese at our farm and say no to the fake stuff!
