Monthly Update - June 2015

HEIRLOOM PRODUCE

This summer we are partnering with Adam's Heirlooms to bring you delicious, local produce. Adam & Diana don't use any hybrids or GMOs which results in vegetables that are amazing in their variety and flavor! We currently have Greens, Cherries, Peas, Radishes and Green Garlic with more options coming each week. Our farm will also again be offering non-GMO, never-sprayed Sweet Corn! Pick up some produce this weekend at our Farm Store

HAY SEASON

With all of the rain we received this spring we had a great first crop of hay. Many days were spent cutting, raking, baling and hauling it off the hayfields. It's hard work but it's fun and we have beautiful views! Plus it means non-GMO alfalfa feed for our animals through the winter.

BULK ORDERS

Our next bulk orders will be available JULY 23 & 25. Deposits are due Saturday, JULY 4! Corriente & Angus beef, pork, and Alaskan Salmon are all currently available. Do you want to try our meat before you make a big purchase? Stop by our farm store this weekend and pick up some separate cuts.

GET YOUR CHICKEN!

Whole birds & cut-ups are now available. Boneless/Skinless breasts, tenders, leg/thigh, bones, wings, organs & feet.

SAUSAGE OPTIONS

Have you tried our pork sausage? Made without BHA, BHT or MSG, it now comes in both one pound packages and breakfast LINKS! Whip up a quick, healthy breakfast by frying a few links alongside some pastured eggs in the morning. $5.50/pound and available at our store.

Brats, burgers and pork shoulder steaks were on the menu for our Father's Day BBQ this past weekend. We enjoyed them all, especially the steaks as they were amazing on the grill. July 4th will be here next week - don't forget to stock up with your favorite UNM cuts for your holiday BBQ!
