Monthly Update - February 2015

Here's an update of what's been going on this month at the farm:

BULK ORDERS
Our next bulk orders will be available March 5 & 7. Deposits are due this Saturday, February 14 so don't delay! Corriente & Angus beef, pork, lamb and Alaskan Salmon are all currently available. Do you want to try our meat before you make a big purchase? Stop by our farm store this weekend and pick up some separate cuts.

NEW CALVES
These little guys were born a few weeks ago. One nice thing about our mild winter this year is we don't worry as much about them staying warm.

NEW RAW MILK BILL
Are you missing raw milk? We are too! We have numerous people ask us about it each week. Know that we are still actively working to have it at our farm again and we're really hoping to have a solution soon.

We also wanted to make you aware of a bill relating to raw milk that is currently being discussed. Utah House Bill 104 would make it legal for individuals to participate in a cow share program, which was deemed illegal in 2007. GENTLE GIANTS
Farmer Shayn and his right hand guys, King & Duke. It's much more fun to work on the farm with them - tractors just don't have as much personality!

FARM STORE
With the unusually warm weather right now we have plenty of eggs in stock. Our hens are loving it! Stop by on the following days:
Thursdays 2:00-5:30pm
Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm
