The GMO Fight - An Update

First off, I want to begin by saying our customers are AWESOME! But I'm sure you already knew that. :) We can't thank you enough for your suggestions, ideas and help in finding non-GMO feed. We are discovering it is hard to find in our part of the country, but we did locate a farmer in central Utah who has non-GMO corn we are able to purchase. We were thrilled to say the least!

We found that the many farmers we talked to didn't understand what the big deal is about GMOs. Even those who use "clean" seeds say they use them not because they care about GMOs, but because they don't have the financing to purchase new equipment for GMO seeds. It appears we have some educating to do!

We are excited to have better feed available to us and will continue to work on researching and finding more farmers and companies who offer it.
